PocketOS, the leading technology platform for luxury auto sales and rentals, today announces the launch of MCP, a remote Model Context Protocol server that lets rental operators manage their entire garage from AI assistants. Available at pocketos.ai/mcp, RentalOS MCP exposes more than 340 GraphQL-backed tools covering rentals, fleet, reports, settings, contacts, agreements, chat, and showroom operations — the same capabilities available in Pocket's rental apps, now accessible inside the AI tools operators already use every day.
Unlike generic AI integrations that require custom API development, MCP connects through standard OAuth 2.1 with Pocket's existing phone OTP sign-in. Operators authenticate once with the same phone number they use for Pocket Drives — no new passwords, no API keys to manage. The assistant works on the operator's active garage and can switch organizations only when explicitly requested, keeping multi-garage operations predictable and safe.

Financial guardrails are built into every money-moving operation. Payments, refunds, voids, payouts, and subscription changes require a dry-run preview first; nothing executes until the operator confirms with an explicit confirmation step. RentalOS MCP is compatible with Perplexity (Pro, Max, and Enterprise), ChatGPT (Developer Mode), and Claude, each with step-by-step setup instructions built directly into Rental OS Settings.

Agent onboarding for new garages
MCP also supports an end-to-end agent onboarding flow for new rental customers. Through dedicated MCP tools, an AI assistant can register a Pocket account, guide the prospect through a GT1 or GT1+ subscription via Stripe Checkout, verify subscription status, and run the Rental OS onboarding checklist. Only two human steps are required: a one-time SMS verification and a one-time card entry on Stripe's hosted checkout page. Everything else — account creation, plan selection, and setup guidance — can be handled autonomously by the agent.
